Man accused accessory to murder arrested in connection homicide

Douglas County Sheriff's Office arrested a 42-year-old man in connection to the homicide from earlier this year.

Kenneth Smith has been charged with accessory to first-degree murder of 39-year-old Laron Hodges.

Authorities said Hodges was reported missing on Feb. 7, and their investigation led them to his vehicle in an impound lot in Omaha. They performed a search and found his body inside the vehicle.

Erykha Wilson, 26, was also arrested as an accessory to first-degree murder in relation to this case.
