The pick-up location is outside Trader Sam’s at the Disneyland Hotel.

Guests line up to check in and then can pick up their mug(s).

As usual with these recent mug releases, there are tables set up on the adventure lawn.

There’s an Enchanted Tiki Room backdrop set up for taking photos of your mug or of just yourself.

There are fake bamboo walls, with images of the Tiki Room Drummers and brown José mug along the top.

There are photos of Enchanted Tiki Room birds and Walt Disney alongside posters and advertisements for the attraction.

The stage is set up with various tiki items and plants.

The mug comes in a cardboard box.

José is depicted as white with blue accents, perched on a post with his name beneath.

The mug’s opening is at the top of José’s head.

“1st Edition Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar” is on the bottom.

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room opened at Disneyland Park in 1963. Tropical Serenade, which was identical except for the pre-show, was an opening day attraction at Magic Kingdom.

Tropical Serenade closed in 1997 to become The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management) featuring Iago from “Aladdin” and Zazu from “The Lion King.” Though this version of the show was widely disliked, it remained in place until an attic fire in 2011. The original version of the show was then mostly restored and named Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.

Another identical version of Enchanted Tiki Room was an opening day attraction at Tokyo Disneyland in 1983. In 1999, it became The Enchanted Tiki Room: Now Playing “Get the Fever!” In 2008, this version was replaced with The Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents Aloha e Komo Mai!

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room is hosted by four macaws: José, Michael, Pierre, and Fritz. The show is approximately 15 minutes long and has about 150 audio-animatronics. It features original music by the Sherman Brothers. At Disneyland, it was sponsored by United Airlines from 1963 to 1976, and has been sponsored by Dole Foods of Dole Whip ever since. At Walt Disney World, it was sponsored by Florida Citrus Growers until 1986.
